Crockpot Buffalo Chicken Dip

With the Super Bowl coming up next weekend, I thought I'd share my go-to recipe for Buffalo Chicken Dip.  I don't even remember when I first tried this dip, but I know it's become more popular in recent years.  You have the option to bake it in the oven, but for a party, I prefer to keep it hot in the crock pot.  I usually serve this dip with tortilla chips, but crusty bread and celery/carrots are both delicious options also!
  • 2-10 ounce cans of chicken (would also be good with shredded rotisserie chicken!)
  • 2-8 ounce packages of cream cheese
  • 3/4 cup hot sauce (I get the small bottle of Frank's Red Hot and just use the whole thing)
  • 1 cup ranch dressing
  • 2 cups mild cheddar cheese
  1. Drain the chicken and put in a medium saucepan
  2. Add hot sauce and cook on medium until it's heated through
  3. Add the cream cheese and stir until blended
  4. Stir in the ranch dressing
  5. Add 1 1/2 cups of the shredded cheese and stir
  6. At this point, transfer it to your crock pot, and sprinkle the remaining cheese on top
  7. Keep the crock pot heated on low
  8. Enjoy!
Does anyone have any other delicious recipes that they are planning to make for Super Bowl Sunday?
